Christian Aid Coffee Shop
The Coffee Shop at Christ Church in the town centre was running for over 2 years and had been open from late September until the end of May.
It had a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, somewhere to rest among friends over a cuppa (with china cups and saucers or posh mugs!) or to indulge in tempting cream cakes or a hot sausage roll - with all profits going to Christian Aid. Customers could browse through the free library or just have a chat - everyone is very welcome! The Coffee Shop was open every Thursday morning in the Church Hall block, this is entered from Tacket Street via a passageway to the left of the main church building, or through the churchyard gate on Cox Lane.
